To maintain credibility and value within the Logistics Network Federation while accepting new network members, the membership criteria should be carefully designed to ensure that all members meet certain standards of professionalism, reliability, and commitment to the industry's best practices. Eligibility Criteria

  • Professional Standards: Applicants should demonstrate adherence to industry best practices, ethical standards, and a commitment to sustainability and innovation.

  • Network Contribution: Prospective members should express a willingness to actively participate in federation activities, including sharing expertise, attending events, and collaborating on initiatives.

  • Reputation and Integrity: Prospective members must have a proven track record of integrity and ethical business practices, supported by references or endorsements from existing LNF members or reputable industry entities.

  • Operational Excellence: Applicants should demonstrate high operational standards, including efficient management systems and a commitment to customer service excellence.

  • Financial Stability: Networks must provide evidence of financial stability and solvency, ensuring they can uphold their business commitments and contribute positively to the federation. 

  • Financial Protection Measures: Networks must have established financial protection measures in place to shield their members from unforeseen financial risks, to ensure a secure and resilient business environment for all LNF members.

  • Industry Experience: A minimum number of 2 years in the freight networking industry( these 2 years must include 2 AGMs to be included ) is required to ensure that members bring valuable expertise and understanding to the federation.

  • Commitment to Innovation and Sustainability: Members should show a commitment to adopting innovative practices and technologies, as well as implementing sustainable and environmentally friendly logistics solutions.

  • Active Participation: Prospective members must be willing to actively participate in LNF activities, including events, and collaborative projects, contributing to the federation's vibrancy and collective knowledge.

  • Contribution to the community: Networks should be willing to contribute to the LNF community, whether through sharing knowledge, resources, or supporting fellow members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

  • Agreement to Code of Conduct: Applicants must agree to adhere to an LNF code of conduct that outlines ethical business practices, professional standards, and respectful collaboration within the federation.
